For some I'm better known as "Krusedulll" on social media. The nickname "Krusedulll" is based on the Norwegian word for "scribble", which is my preferred style of shading my drawings. I love portrait drawing and have stayed committed to "a face a day" for a long time. Almost every night, I scribble down a portrait in my small sketchbook or on bigger paper; I also make timelapse videos of the drawings, which I post on social media. Millions and millions of you have watched, enjoyed, and learned from my drawing videos.
My preferred method of drawing is freehand, which means I do not depend on instruments, use grids, or trace when I draw. I draw directly on paper from observation. Usually, I only use a ballpoint pen or markers to draw with; no pencils or erasers are involved in this process, not even for the outline!
I have always been a person who wants to help others achieve their potential, and my professional career has been about that in different roles, such as working as a social worker, teacher, career adviser, or leader. And now I’m teaching others to make magic with a pen, drawing anything from an observation, especially portraits! In this course, I’m here to ensure you enjoy creating your own drawings.
